Abstract- This paper contains two aspects: first a discussion is given about the problems presented by the MHD and the “geodynamo” studied by many researchers in the world with experiments and simulations. We show that this theory cannot explain the origin of geomagnetism. The dynamic of geomagnetism in the core is governed by a diffusion process. Then we present our theory which permits to explain geomagnetism by giving the source which is missing in MHD theory. This source is localized in D” zone which has an important electrical activity thanks to the presence of the piezoelectric materials -the perovskites and post-perovskites- submitted to different pressures at very high gradient of temperature. Then in this zone, the strong convection move and the Coriolis effect contribute to create geomagnetism. Proofs and calculation are made, taking into account the total D” zone and the outer core as a coupled electrical system. The reverses of geomagnetism are also explained.

Keywords-Geomagnetism, geodynamo, MHD, D" zone, piezoelectricity, perovskites, Coriolis effect
