6th-IEJ-ESA Joint Symposium

International Symposium on Electrostatics and Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Applications

November 7-10, 2004

Tokyo, Japan

The Institute of Electrostatics Japan (IEJ)

Co-organized by Electrostatic Association America (ESA)

Introduction

6th IEJ-ESA Joint Symposium will be held on applied electrostatics taking place in Tokyo, organized by the Institute Electrostatics Japan.

The location of the IEJ-ESA Symposium is at the Sanjo Conference Hall in the campus of the University of Tokyo.  The first joint symposium was held at Stanford University in 1994, and the successive symposiums were held every one year; at Tokyo University in 1996, at Stanford University in 1998, at Kyodai Kaikan of Kyoto University in 2000 and at North Western University in 2002.  IESJ (Institute of Electrostatics Japan) will wish to enlarge the area and call scientists for other countries of whole world.

In this year, we also plan to have a special session on atmospheric pressure plasma, especially related with the environmental protection.
